My son, 14, has developed a terrible habit of snoring in the last six months. He doesn’t spit. But he just makes sounds. As if he’s cleaning his nose, sinuses and all the channels that go along with it. He does this all the time for about 3 minutes. It sounds disgusting. When he’s distracted and when he’s sleeping, he doesn’t do this. I’m trying to get him to stop and bother him. Now I’m wondering if this is a developmental phase, that he’s accumulating something more, or if it’s really “just” a miserable habit. If anyone here knows.
